Back in September 2025, I began Tirzepatide through a Medspa that charged way too much, believing it was my only route. It didn't take long before I discovered Reddit and got introduced to the world of telehealths. For a period, I was all in, convinced I'd uncovered the loophole — until a few months back when something felt wrong. My medication quit working, I got stuck at a stall, and I haven't seen any genuine change since December, even though I've been doing everything correctly. Steady injection timing, proper titration, a calorie deficit eating plan, and working out every day — yet no progress since 12/15/25.

It was like I was injecting bath water. Food noise came back and appetite suppression vanished entirely. Plus, as my dose went up, so did the price. The relief was gone — I felt scammed and discouraged. I began following Reddit posts and comments about going grey, and that's how I ended up here.

Honestly — I'm scared out of my mind and feel like I've stepped into a completely different world, but I'm meticulous and I enjoy learning, so I'll be doing my homework.

I've never touched bitcoin, I have zero clue about reconstituting, but I have basic knowledge of some things from working in the medical field for 15 years, so I'm ready for the challenge.

Truthfully, cryptocurrency is the part that intimidates me most! I'm a Midwest mom and a ranch wife, so that's something TOTALLY foreign to me.

I've spent hours reading and I'm uplifted by how friendly everyone is and how useful the information is. I'm thrilled to join this community to learn all I can to get my health under control and take my life back. I've been on tirzepatide, but now I'm considering switching to Reta because of all the success stories and what appear to be fewer side effects! I'm looking forward to making new friends and lifelong support, so please bear with this redneck mama as I find my way down this new, bumpy, backroad, and don't hesitate to reach out with any advice you think would help!

Nice work on moving forward! It took me roughly 2 weeks to come across this forum.. yet like the rest of the group, we are all searching for improved options. I began Reta a few days back through a vendor located in the US, definitely paid too much, but I was eager to begin. I'm in a comparable situation, ready to face the challenge. Best of luck!

That Tirz "plateau" is exactly why I showed up here. At some point I'll need to move up a notch. Most likely Ret. After that, it seems like people are looking into add-ons such as Eloralintide. Everyone is digging into everything, and GLP-1 research is exploding.

Last night was my very first crypto order, so I'm right there with you. There are probably cheaper routes, but the exodus wallet did the job for me. Read a lot before you commit. I bought usdt on the ethereum chain — that's what gets called usdt erc20. After that you grab a couple of bucks' worth of ethereum to cover what they call gas money for the transfer. It reads like a headache, but from there it's just copy and paste. Waiting for it all to clear still feels sketchy. Hope that's some help; I'm still a noob myself and someone else may have better pointers.

None of that made any sense to me! Crypto is hands down the part of this whole thing I'll need to study up on the most. Exodus wallet rings a bell, so that's my starting point and I'll figure out the rest from there. There's a ton of learning ahead of me! If you'd told me a Midwest cowgirl would end up figuring out crypto, I'd have laughed, but here we are haha

If some redneck from the east coast managed it, then you can too lol

Appreciate it! Best of luck on your end too! I'm looking forward to picking up plenty of knowledge!

Same here. Yeah, my username says Mr Catscratch, but surprise—I'm #JustAGirl too, lol. In the end I chose to go with Alipay, and I've been digging through every review on this site trying to track down vendors that take it, because honestly that route feels way less scary to me 😅 Eventually, though, I figure I'll force myself to figure out that whole crypto thing.

My experience has been fine up to now. My initial gray purchase arrived earlier today, though I've actually been dosing for 4 weeks at 0.5mg/week. Zero adverse reactions.

Crypto was a first for me as well. It absolutely gave off scam vibes, but once the package showed up everything felt fine lol. One thing to watch out for is the fees. Example: to transfer $190, you should purchase around $200 of crypto, since buying plus sending runs roughly $5-ish. Cashapp bitcoin was my route, but plenty of other methods exist, and YouTube tutorials are out there if you need them.

Stairway to Gray's guide was the simplest one for me to follow, so that's why I went with Exodus. The moment I launched the app, my brain basically short-circuited! I'd never touched crypto before, and all at once I'm staring at 200 different coins spread across 6 networks that I'm supposed to figure out! Still, the folks in this community are great and happy to guide newbies like me!

I'm right there with you when it comes to crypto! Zero idea what I'm doing, but down the rabbit hole we go!

I placed my very first order using crypto. 😎 It was quite the experience. Luckily, the people I chose had a guide for me and made sure a small test transaction went through before I wired over the larger amount. Even so, it feels super sketchy, and I doubt I'll believe my money didn't vanish into a black hole until the medication actually shows up.

Same here! Midwestern mom over here, and last week I literally had to search “what is crypto.” 🤣

My brain is spinning from all of this. I’ll read through a guide, then check out the company that made it or whatever they’re pushing, and the bad Trustpilot reviews scare me away. (Bitget...I’m talking about you). I’m leaning toward Kraken, but I still haven’t worked up the nerve to actually do it.

Buying through Bit for the 1st time, and honestly it gave me a bit of a scare. Days of nonstop digging finally pushed me to just pull the trigger. Delivery from the supplier I went with runs roughly 15–25 days, and that feels like FOREVER (aren't these things supposed to stay cold)?! I went with one that came with COAs (pretty sure that's the term) — though I've since read those can be doctored, so who really knows. I also came across a site offering public testing through legit companies, which looks like the safer path if your budget allows, but in the end I went with the overseas route. Spent about $150, which should cover roughly a 10 month supply at 2.0mg. The 1 thing tripping me up right now is BAC water — really wish I'd tacked it onto the order. Bottom line, $150 for a 5-10 month supply was worth it.

Let's see how this plays out — glad to be on this ride with all of you.

Welcome aboard! You'll find the search function on this site really helpful. Another resource worth checking out is Stairway to Grey — it's designed with beginners in mind, packed with solid info, and the moderators there are great at steering you in the right direction.

I used to find crypto pretty daunting. Bitcoin, BTC, swings a lot in value. Take a look at USDC and USDT — those are stablecoins — for an exchange rate that's basically 1:1 (maybe off by a cent or so).

Once you feel ready, getting a crypto wallet will be your next move.

Take your time. When I finally committed to learning it, I did a ton of reading. I'd do one thing, then give myself space to absorb it. Then I'd do another thing, and again let it really settle in. Then one more step... You see the pattern. Stay deliberate and careful. My very first wallet payment with crypto took over a week to finish. I buy crypto through Kraken, and their bank transfer takes 7 days before the money is usable. Annoying, but it stops me from making rash purchases. LOL

If there's anything I can do to help, just send me a message.

I feel exactly the same way. Crypto makes me uneasy. Still, I know I'll have to take that step eventually.

That really clears things up, thanks a lot!

Hoping for some guidance on this. I came across info saying that if a vendor runs into legal issues, the payment accounts of buyers who sent money to that vendor end up frozen. My wallet has been around for years. Would it be smarter to set up a fresh one — someone mentioned Exodus. But everything is connected. If they decide to freeze my Exodus wallet, can they tell whose it is? Would that also affect my other wallets?

I picked up my crypto via my revolut account, then moved it over to my exodus wallet — honestly, that route was super straightforward. If you're able to open a revolut account, it could be something to check out.

Grab BTC on revolut.

Transfer it into your personal exodus wallet

Then forward it from exodus to whoever you're buying from.

You are far from the only one in this situation

Right now I’m taking tirz (Mounjaro) 5mg and dealing with much the same thing. Lately the tiredness has hit me hard, and it’s maddening when you’re putting in all the effort yet the scale won’t show what you’re hoping for 🙁

There’s still a lot I’m figuring out as well, particularly the extra pieces (crypto, reconstituting, etc.), but folks here appear really willing to help.
