Hey all, I'm Courtney and I live in Illinois! I'm a newbie but I've spent a lot of time digging into this, and honestly it's been one deep rabbit hole after another! I feel like I'm finally at the point where I can make my first purchase from China, but I have a question. For those of you who only buy small amounts for personal use, once your vials arrive do you spend the money to have them tested independently, or do you just go by the COAs provided by the seller? I'm talking about the ones mentioned on here that are really well-known vendors. From what I can tell, sending them out for testing isn't inexpensive. Thanks!

Honestly, there's no single answer. Research matters a lot in this space, so read through what others have written in their reviews and comments. Early on it's all trial and error.

on a small lot, it's tough to decide.

personally, though, what the peptide actually is makes all the difference.

say it's semax, purity checks out, but the fill was 3x what it should be — then I'm thinking "score", since a mega dose doesn't really carry a downside beyond the fact that I didn't actually need it. so when the lot is small, I lean toward skipping testing, particularly when peer testing suggests the other products are solid and the company looks like it's running internal testing.

now if it's reta and I'm sitting at 8 mg, a 3x fill turns that into 24 mg, which is dangerous. <- and yes, that has actually happened to me. so with reta, I test every single time, unless I can confirm a peer (not the company) has already tested that same lot.

so you really need to understand the risk you're taking with the peptide you're taking. what are the consequences of an over fill. What else can go wrong in the manufacturing process.

just know that even the best suppliers will have supply chain issues. this even happens in the states with fda regulated products on occasion.

anyways, thats my own uninformed approach to it
