Hey all! I'm in my 30s and Retatrutide has really caught my attention!

Mounjaro has been my regimen for roughly 5 months. It's helped a lot (84kgs down to 67kgs), but as my dose goes up, the expense is gradually becoming a problem for me.

Back in my 20s I made some poor lifestyle choices lol, which left me with a fatty liver and pre-diabetes. I'm working on changing for myself, and I hope I can pull it off!!

Looking forward to picking up knowledge from this forum and possibly making a few friends here too!

Losing 17kg over 5 months is a great result! Because you're going grey, it could make sense to stay on Tirz since it's clearly working for you, and just add some Reta alongside it, rather than making a sudden switch.

Hi, this might come across as a silly thing to ask. Is stacking tirz with reta actually possible? I haven't looked into it at all so far, though I plan to. Right now I've been stuck at a plateau on 7.5mg mounjaro for 2 weeks, and that's despite cutting back on food.

Sure, man, some people do combine the two. But honestly, based on what you've shared, you don't seem like a candidate for that—your weight is already quite low, and you've mentioned you're not diabetic. If you're not diabetic, I'd suggest switching from Tirza to Reta.

After finally going through forum threads, I see people are gradually adding reta on top of tirz, spacing the doses a few days apart. Trying it makes me nervous since everyone reacts differently. Maybe I'll begin with a low dose of reta. What bothers me about Mounjaro is that while the number on the scale drops, my muscle rate drops along with it, even though I do resistance training and eat protein. I came across info that reta brings less appetite suppression, but I figure that works in my favor since Tirz suppresses my appetite too strongly. I have 2 meals a day and can't really enjoy different foods.

That's precisely the point I had in mind. Muscle loss is going to happen with any overly aggressive weight loss approach. You can reduce it somewhat if you put your attention on body recomposition.

I have no experience with tirz, but on reta my hunger and appetite haven't gone away.

Eating is possible for me, though a heavy greasy fried meal leaves me with gastric pain as the price. Plenty of well-informed folks are around in this space who can show you the way — just look for where opinions line up.

Glad to have you on the forum. There's a ton of excellent material here!!!
