Hello! It feels as though my twilight years have arrived far earlier than they should. Roughly 3 months back I underwent a total knee replacement, and I remain stiff, sore, and progressively more caged in. On downhills, a weak quad is a massive issue for me—that muscle needs building! I am turning to peptides for assistance with shedding a few kilos (technically I am not overweight, so a prescription is out of reach), body recomposition, improved sleep, and greater energy. Since the surgery, every working day finishes with me in near-total collapse. Getting back to tramping/hiking is something I desperately want (there is real desperation in that sentence). A few peptides have been tried by me—BPC157 before surgery (no clue whether it did anything), Mots C (a wonderful but short-lived energy burst), and CPC/Ipamorelin (no DAC) (which hit me absolutely terribly, like a massive adrenaline surge that kept me wired for hours, unfortunate since sleep was the goal). I am also in my 4th week of terzapetide (3 kg down) and quite like it, but my vials are finished. A single pen dose (no needle included) of branded 5mg mounjaro was found by me. Yet I cannot work out how to extract my preferred dose (3.3ml), and I am not even sure a needle can be attached for the 5mg dose, as a needle-less mounjaro pen gunshot style does not appear in any available youtube videos or printed instructions. The pen operates like a gunshot—5 mg brings extreme nausea and total shutdown for me (I become very cold, with no energy at all) but it seems my only option now. Any ideas would be great!

Kia ora - our stash is running low too, and the folks we'd been buying through have packed it in. The vendor area is next on my list to explore. Then there's the customs obstacle course …… here's hoping.

I hope it’s alright for me to chime in with how things went for me - I can’t offer anything tailored to the choices in front of you, and I’m nowhere near your region - but I figured I’d describe what getting started looked like on my end -

For me it wasn’t a knee replacement, but after a 3rd operation on my knee I was struggling to keep up a consistent activity level and maintain a focused way of living - and I couldn’t even stay with my son on the trails.

What followed was a gradual slide into less healthy routines and, because of that, weight gain.

Weight loss wasn’t something I was chasing as the main aim, but when I first looked into tb500 and bpc it got me active and sparked the healthier steps, which let me put my attention elsewhere.

My stiffness has eased, I bounce back fast from the very specific ‘lower chain’ strength work for my legs, and losing weight through being more active has been a welcome side effect.

I hope what happened with those 2 gives you something useful for where you search for answers - or for where you might notice indirect gains that snowball into wider improvements

Hi huffing! Thanks for spending the time to write back and for telling me about what you've been through. Knees that are shot are shot, regardless of which country someone lives in. I gave BPC 157 a go before surgery- whether it did anything, I honestly can't say. Getting better has been rough (though maybe it would have been even rougher without it?) It would be great if this forum had some kind of glossary where all these shortened terms were spelled out; tb500, what does that stand for? I'm happy that they're working for you…on some days my knees hurt so much that I can't even manage leg extensions.
