Hey there, everyone! 👋

I hail from New Zealand, and my weight loss path has been going on for roughly a year now. Both Wegovy and Mounjaro have been part of my routine, and to date I've dropped about 11 kg — something that makes me genuinely pleased. Recently, however, progress has stalled, and the food noise has started returning, despite being on Mounjaro at its highest dose.

My reason for joining this group is to gain knowledge from others, gather useful tips, and link up with folks who get what this journey involves. I can't wait to share how I'm doing, draw from all of your experiences, and ideally give back by supporting others too.

All the best to each of you with your goals! 😊

Welcome aboard! This community is full of people who've been through a lot, so take whatever advice resonates with you and ignore the rest.

When I hit a plateau that lasted a while, I decided to introduce reta. Tirz was already part of my routine. My body responds strongly to small amounts, so I'm careful whenever I introduce something new. For my first experiment, I used 1mg tirz alongside .05 reta. That went smoothly (no sides), so I continued increasing reta by .05 over several weeks. Everything stayed fine until I got overconfident and jumped by 2mg in one go, bringing my reta total to 4 -- way too much. UGH. You'll hear from others that starting below 2mg isn't worth it, and that from there you should keep adding another 2mg each week. I suppose the only way to learn how our bodies respond is by . . . trying it. Some people bring in cagri or other peptides instead. My advice is that it pays to browse around the site to get that variety of experiences.

Best of luck, and don't hesitate to ask questions!

Appreciate the input — I'm making the switch to Reta tomorrow, so here's hoping it goes well!

Kia ora! Another Kiwi here! I'm fresh to this as well and right now I'm using wegovy. What was it like for you switching over from wegovy to mounjaro? It would be wonderful if it didn't cost so much, wouldn't it. Ever since I began looking into peptides, my mind has been pretty blown. They're pretty amazing!

Another kiwi here! Right now I'm taking wegovy, but the cost is honestly ridiculous. Discovering all these other peptides through this place has been really eye-opening. I also just listened to a DOAC podcast on YouTube featuring Alex Tatum, and it was quite helpful as well. Link below if anyone wants it:

I hear you — right now I'm on Mounjaro at the top dose, and the cost is really up there. I've just put in an order for some Reta to give it a go, but a mate locally has some, so I'll be starting on that tomorrow. With any luck my own order turns up within a couple of weeks. Way better value. I also put in an order for Semaglutide for a relative.

After a month of looking into things, I'm ready to place my order today. Reta is what I want to try for myself, and I'll also be picking up tirzepatide for someone in my family. Part of me is excited, part of me is a bit on edge...!

After looking into it, I came across a solid option.
