For the last six years I’ve been battling Long Covid, and five weeks ago I began using Reta. Exercise and even basic daily tasks have been severely impacted by this illness, and the weight gain has been awful, particularly because I actually feel better when my weight goes up. When my dose was increased at the 5-week point, it wasn’t very pleasant—I had trouble sleeping and headaches. I’m trying to take it slow (1mg x4 and now at 3mg), but the weight loss is already quite obvious, and at 3mg most of the food noise has disappeared.

After spending time reading without posting, I finally decided to join. I’ve already picked up a lot from everyone’s experiences and suggestions. Thanks for putting together such a helpful forum.

Is there anyone else here with Long Covid who has found some of the other resources helpful for certain symptoms?

Glad you found this forum. There's useful material here on nicotine and long covid—worth a look.
