Hi everyone! After my PCP (surprisingly) introduced me to it, I've been spending a lot of time researching peptides—Reta in particular.

I'm really eager to do a comprehensive investigation into testing (thanks to @5byfive and his post last month, which gave me a solid starting point), dig into what all these new compounds might offer, and figure out how to use modern science to improve my health in a responsible way before I become a first-time dad soon.

Out of all the communities I've come across, this forum stands out as excellent, and now that I've finally made an account, I'm looking forward to interacting with all of you more!

Welcome aboard, and may everything go well for you from here on!
Thanks! I'm taking reta and increasing the dose gradually, and honestly I'm happy to report that I feel great

Setting up the home gym so we don't lose too much muscle 🙂

I've now spent roughly 10 weeks using Reta, which was prescribed by a local Dr, and I'm really enjoying it!
What's the process here? Do you live in the US? A weight loss clinic? As far as I know, a doctor can't prescribe it unless you're in a clinical trial.

Correct, I'm located in the states. The place is a men's health clinic, mostly focused on sports-related matters. My guess is that their supply comes from a compounding pharmacy, and I'd bet it's "under the table". On top of that, the cost is insanely high, which is exactly why I'm making the move to gray!

From what I understand, that's correct—outside of clinical trials, whatever's available is essentially gray market

What they're handing you is almost definitely gray market reta, just with slicker branding (and honestly, no shade there — it's a solid move to set you up)

That said, yeah, Eli Lilly's official products are all tied up by the FDA

Yeah, I bet. They say the steep price tag comes from running labs plus checkups every month 😂

That seems like a very profitable venture 😆
