I'm just starting out with peptides. Finding this forum has been a real stroke of luck—there's plenty of solid info here, plus some gray vendors. I picked up reta at a good price and have now been using it for 3 weeks. The appetite suppression is really beginning to take hold, and I feel great. I want to figure out my stack, though I'll have to research a lot more before that happens.

Greetings, another newcomer!

What sort of stack do you have in mind? I'm in a similar position, though my focus leans toward bodybuilding aims—so things like joint support, energy output, stamina, and so on.

Glad you joined the forum. There’s plenty of useful information available here. Definitely take advantage of the search bar!

What Retatrutide dose did you begin at, and how are the side effects affecting you?

Ah, the Brave New World of Research. Where has this been all my life?

Compound Sema was my start in June 25, titrated up to 2.4 mg/weekly. The first four weeks took off quite a bit, then came the stall. A couple of months of it, in fact - nothing lost.

Then Nov 25 brought a direct move to 10 mg of Tirzepatide. Nov through Jan gave me 4 pounds.

AND at 365 pounds, there was a shit-ton to lose.

Research followed, and eventually I worked out how to get research Reta, which I began 4 weeks ago.

Right now the Tirz is stacked at 10mg/week with 4 mg of Reta, both taken together.

Well, that did it, my body loves the stack, and four weeks have taken 10 pounds off. Staying put for a while to see how it plays out.

Overall, right from starting Sema last June, the Ancillary Benefits of GLP1s have been magnificent. A few of the added bennies in my case have been:

  • Bone-on-bone bilateral knee osteoarthritis: gone
  • Chronic Kidney Disease markers shifted from Stage 3A down to Stage 2!!
  • An over-active bladder that had reached the needing-diapers stage has healed, now totally gone--I am sure bladder inflammation is what was eliminated
  • Obstructive Sleep Apnea has improved greatly, whether from the peptides or the weight loss--way less pressure is needed now
  • AFib attacks went from once a week to NONE. (My Electrophysiologist cleared me last week to come back in a year, with lab numbers, episodes and EKGs all excellent)
  • Food cravings have gone. A whole pack of anything holds no interest now. Fruits and vegetables are what I long for, with the cookies, candy and bagels left sitting on the counter.
  • Walking without a cane is possible--one is no longer needed
  • There's a new joi de vivre in my life, and running errands is actually enjoyable now.
Obesity is a disease I live with. For me, these GLP-1's are miracle drugs, and taking them for the rest of my life is fine by me, the same way Xarelto is taken for AFib. Leaving the 300's behind can't come soon enough. Hopefully by fall of 2026!

Any questions, just ask.

Glad you're here. Currently I'm running Reta alongside HGH. Prior to switching over, I spent roughly 5 months on Monjaro. Because my MJ dose had gotten quite high, I kicked things off with a split dose of 2x2mg. Things seem to be going well so far — I believe the two are complementing each other nicely, and that's on top of my training, which consists of BJJ, weight lifting, and occasionally some mountain biking for good measure. All the best to everyone.

Once you took that initial dose, did your hunger drop at all? I've also been at this for roughly 3 weeks, and I'm trying to figure out whether increasing the dose is necessary. The possible side effects make me a bit uneasy.

How's the hgh working out for you? I'm really curious about starting it. My thinking is that Reta plus hgh could pair together quite nicely.

Great to hear, I'm in the same boat. Reta was my starting point too, and after 6 weeks the results have been excellent.

Going up in dose gradually is really important. Appetite suppression didn't hit me properly until roughly week 2. For those first 2 weeks I stayed at 1mg, after which I moved to 2mg. I've come across some bad accounts of people who increase their dose far too fast (spending long stretches on the toilet).

Seeing your experience makes me think I can break through the stall I hit with semaglutide and get back to dropping pounds! Glad you're here 🙂

Same situation here. I use tirzepatide, and there’s still 1 dose of 2.5 zepbound in my supply. My initial grey market purchase just arrived, and I’m thinking about increasing to 5mg since hunger control has basically disappeared.

My dose increases have been extremely gradual. At close to 5 weeks, I’m still only at 1.5mg 😂 Since I’m prone to migraines, I’m concerned this could set one off. Up to now, it appears to be effective. On my next pin, I’ll move up to 2mg, and if that goes smoothly, I’ll likely accelerate the increases a bit after that.
