Hi, I'm in the UK and just starting to look into peptides. I'm wondering whether they could be useful for problems tied to a pituitary issue and menopause. I'm in my 50s and perimenopausal. I've always eaten clean and stayed active, but for about 4yrs my energy has been completely gone, my metabolism is low, I'm losing a lot of hair, putting on weight, dealing with joint pain, and my immune system is weak. It's rough!! Has anyone else gone through something like this?

Hi, fellow newbie here. 50 F and I’m on the perimenopause rollercoaster too. I had a partial hysterectomy in 2012. I’ve always been fairly active, but my diet was not great. In the last 3 years that really caught up with me. Seems like the weight just keeps adding on no matter what. I’ve been dialing in my diet, getting my steps, hopefully Tirz or Reta will help.

Hey, it sure is a crazy journey! They do seem like they could be a solid solution, there's just a ton to take in, but it's really fascinating up to now. Have you begun, or are you still exploring the options?

Haven't started yet, still reading everything I can. My hope was to land a clinical trial. Two of them are recruiting near me, and I'm still waiting on an answer. Have you begun any peptides yourself?

For your situation, peptides won't do the job. Perimenopause is something my own mother is dealing with too.

Progesterone comes first — micronised works just fine. After that, bring in estrogen via patches or gels, with weekly injections being the best option. Testosterone is the third thing you'd layer in.

Have a look at reddit.com/r/trt_females and search through the posts there.

Finding a doctor who will handle all of this for you may or may not happen. Helping people isn't really what doctors are keen on. Educating yourself and sourcing these products from the grey market will serve you far better, even though the unfortunate reality is that most people are too frightened to take that path and therefore put up with worse care as a result.

Hey! When this year began, my mom was dealing with almost the exact same thing, and that is what got me researching GLP’s. Reta has changed her life in a huge way. Her health and energy are at levels they have never reached before. Of course, the glp is only a tool, so she also follows a strict workout regimen and eats clean. Wishing you all the best! I’m confident your experience will be incredible too.

Glad you're here, Kohona. I'm also in my late 50s and get where you're coming from. Peptides have been a help for me — the following day I feel wiped out, though that fades over the weeks. My eating has improved too, and I've got more drive to stick with skincare and working out consistently.
