New Tirzepatide Member Joining from South Dakota

Hello all!

I've been lurking around here since February. I'm a 40-year-old guy, standing 6' tall. Since starting Tirzepitide at the start of the year, I've dropped 65 lbs. My weight went from 295 lbs down to 230. Constipation has been one of the few side effects, but it hasn't been severe. I'm now reading up a lot on Reta for the remaining 30 lbs. This site has already taught me quite a bit. Appreciate the welcome!
 
That is seriously impressive—dropping 65 lbs since the start of the year is fantastic!!!! By now you've got to be noticing a massive change. I'm pretty new around here (coming up on 3 months of Tirzepitide), so seeing results like yours really lights a fire under me. This past month felt like things stalled for me, though it's possible I'm expecting too much. Thanks for posting this! Hoping I'll be able to say the same once I hit my 5-6 month point! 🤞

Glad you're here. Your progress is impressive! I began with Reta and I'm taking it easy at a low dose. Best of luck with your journey!

I appreciate the nice message! Early on, I was also quite strict with my eating. Over the past 6 weeks or so, I haven't managed to drop any additional weight, though I haven't been watching my food intake as closely. Wishing you success on your own path too! It does work!

Appreciate it! Is 2mg where you're beginning? A few folks get frustrated when the pounds don't come off quickly, but in my view starting low and moving slowly is ideal. Honestly, at this stage I'd be fine if the medication only kept my weight steady! 🙂 Wishing you the best!

Appreciate it! Family members of mine have seen great results too. My mom, who is 66, has dropped 70lbs, and both her RA and apnea have gotten better!
