Hey everyone, Ive just gotten started with GLP-1s and Im here to pick up whatever I can. I have Type 2 diabetes and carry a bit of extra weight.

Forums arent really my thing, but Im doing my best to find my way around and absorb what I can. Everyone here comes across as welcoming and I hope I can be part of it. Even tho I imagine Ill mostly lurk and read rather than write posts.

If there are any threads you think are worth a look, point me toward them. Either way Ill be quietly poking around all over 🙂
 
Australia is somewhere I'd really love to visit. This might sound like a strange thing to ask, but how does kangaroo meat taste?

The closest way I can put it is that the meat has a strong gamey flavor. Still, it's tasty. Sausages and similar items are simple enough to prepare, but steaks need a bit of caution.

A stew made with the tail is something the indigenous people like to make. Personally, I think the tail is terrible to eat though 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's quite close to venison in character. Extremely low in fat. Delicious, though proper preparation is essential.
 
Venison is a favorite of mine. Once my daughter finishes college, I intend to head out on a 2-week walkabout with her. She studies Geosystems engineering and, for reasons I can't quite grasp, has a real passion for rocks.
