Glad to have stumbled upon this community. After spending some time reading quietly and chasing various "research" leads elsewhere, I keep getting pointed right back to this spot.
At 36, I'm on the younger side, and I'm several months out from surviving a heart attack. Before that happened, I had almost no dealings with the medical world, and it's certainly lived up to its reputation. Right now I take 7 medications—a few of them are managing side effects brought on by the others—and I keep hitting walls when it comes to finding doctors who want to dig into underlying causes and prevention rather than just managing symptoms. I've also been informed that some of the harm my heart attack caused can't be undone, which doesn't quite line up with certain clinical findings about specific peptides. I'm very eager to explore how GLP's and peptides might play a role in recovery. Looking forward to picking things up here.
