Hey everyone. Justin here, and yes, I'm the fresh face in this group. Figured I'd do the whole summer camp introduction thing. Heavy metal is what I listen to most. Fishing and camping are things I enjoy, and nothing beats the scent of 2 stroke oil blended with race gas. Ozempic was my go-to for a stretch, but the results were just meh. A big part of that was me not being disciplined with food and struggling to keep my dosing on schedule. Roughly 1 month back, I dropped ozempic and made the switch to Reta. Right now I'm at 2mg every 6 days, and I've gotten really strict about tracking everything I eat, holding a steady 700 calorie deficit each day, with 1 cheat meal allowed weekly, usually Sunday. Lately I've added some light resistance training and I'm on my bicycle at the beach 4 times a week for about 8 miles each time. Over the past month, I've dropped 24 lbs. Starting last week, I began using an evolt 360 scan (similar to a dexa scan, but it's what my gym offers) and I'll be using that to track my progress too. Excited to share whatever I can and pick up knowledge along the way.

Welcome! I can't wait to hear how this GLP1 round feels different when you bring focus and determination, versus the first time around. Has reta been sitting well with your body, or did you run into fresh resistance because you'd already done ozempic? From what I've heard, cycling off and then back on can be a real pain.

It seems to be doing a decent job. Protein lands around 150grams most days with carbs held under 100g. Logging everything has helped enormously — I always know exactly where I stand, which makes the right choices easier. Eating for nutrition rather than stimulation is a hard habit to break, but I'm finding ways to answer hunger that actually fuel the body. Energy is dramatically better and sleep keeps improving. Mornings run a 5 on 2 off routine with 50mg of NAD+, and the evening brings a 4mg dose of the KLOW stack. Soreness after rides or workouts has eased off, which keeps me training more often. Ibuprofen and flexeril, once a daily habit, are down enormously.
