Hello all!

I'm just beginning with Glp1s and have an interest in bettering myself. What I figured would be the start of a weightloss effort has instead left me really amazed at how good I feel!!

At 54, I'm a perimenopausal woman raising 2 high schoolers and always on the move. A terrible accident 20 years back left me dealing with a lot of pain. Since I began glp1, my inflammation and pain have dropped significantly, hot flashes are gone and I'm feeling happy!!

I'm joining to learn and to feel better alongside like minded people.

Great to hear! My mother is close to your age and reta has been working for her. I got her tracking calories, and at last the pounds are dropping quickly!

We're in Sunny Central Florida too. Unfortunately, I'm not old enough to take advantage of it.

Hello! I've seen a pair of interviews featuring Peter Bernard from The Villages discussing GLP1s. If I'm not mistaken, that area is close to where you are. Hello once more.

We spend the winter roughly two hours to the south of you. Florida is a fantastic state.

I'm on tirz and aiming for 100 grams of protein daily — emphasis on aiming!!! The weight has been coming off consistently. Switching to reta is something I've been thinking about; since what I'm doing now is working, I'm wary of rocking the boat 😬.

No particular age is required to enjoy our state!!! My husband served in the army and is now retired, so we've relocated a few times. IMHO Florida ranks among the most fascinating and gorgeous states!!! Beaches, parks, springs... mermaids, amazing!

Peter Bernard is a new name to me — I'll have to look him up! Thanks. We're near TV, "village adjacent," right along the bubble's edge.

Howdy! My 54th birthday is in 2 days!

Central FL is where I'm based too

Oh- birdwhacker is my kid 🙂

Things really picked up for me on the weight loss front after I switched to reta twice weekly, plus began logging everything and putting protein first! For myself, I aim to land in the 1300-1600cal range each day with 100-150g of protein. Usually I end up near 1400 cal and 135g protein.

My Reta start was super gradual, which explains the small losses in those first 2 months (2lbs, then 6lbs), but month 3 is when it took off and I dropped another 10 pounds!

Generally, I'm down about 2lbs per week.

Back under 200lbs at last, and next up is getting beneath 150...
