Hello all,

Let me get straight to the point.

I'm nearing 50 years old, keep fairly active (cardio about 3 times a week), and have used Zepbound (tirzepatide) for roughly 2 years to shed pounds.

Honestly, it's been effective, though progress has been slow and the cost is high (~$500 each month).

My objectives:

At 6' tall, I began around 280lbs. Over those ~2 years, I've dropped roughly ~60lbs, landing me right around my target of ~220lbs.

Now I'm turning to enhancing body composition along with longevity/healthspan.

On the health side, I'm hoping to address certain gut problems (UC) and give my thyroid (hypothyroid) some support—these are the primary factors that led to my original weight gain.

Appearance-wise, I'm not aiming for serious bodybuilding, but like many of you probably feel, I'd settle for looking "good for my age".

With that in mind, I've begun exploring other peptides, especially GHK-cu, to see whether it might fix some loose skin (from the weight loss) and bring back some muscle I hadn't realized I was shedding alongside the fat.

Following the GHK-cu trail introduced me to GLOW and KLOW, which catch my interest both for those cosmetic aims and for overall anti-inflamation and workout recovery, so I can spend more gym time hitting my other fitness targets.

I'd truly appreciate any advice anyone can offer to help me build a resistance training plan for body composition, plyometrics, and overall fitness.

What I can contribute to the community:

I hold a PhD and work as an academic researcher (semi-retired, in a different field), and I pick things up quickly.

I'm glad to assist with digging through academic research and lend a hand however possible.

Above all, I'm thankful to those who invested effort in building this community to exchange knoweldge and support people in pursuing their goals safely.

Welcome aboard! I've been using GLP-1s for roughly 1.5 years now, and I've also reached my "goal weight" — these days I'm just keeping things steady with tirz injections each week. The skin-related upsides of GHK-Cu caught my attention, and that's what led me to look into other peptides. Much like you, the extra advantages made GLOW/KLOW an obvious draw for me.

I'm nearing the 2-week mark on my KLOW protocol. So far, I can't say I've seen any skin changes (I've also got some loose skin left over from the weight loss), but I have noticed I feel less achy throughout the day. My joint pain has improved a great deal, and I'm not as sore following workouts. Best of luck with your research!

What made you choose KLOW over GLOW, or simply GHK-Cu?

GHK-Cu was a must for me from the start, since improving my skin was the top priority. After that, I dug deeper into the Wolverine Stack and thought it might pair well given its emphasis on recovery. Picking between GLOW and KLOW took more thought, but since the cost difference was pretty small and the anti-inflammatory upside seemed harmless, I went for it. I’ll admit I fall for the “more is better” trap.

From what I gather, combining these isn't ideal: BPC and TB-500 need to be dosed on different schedules, and beyond that, BPC is meant to act at the specific site while TB-500 circulates and acts systemically.

You raise a valid consideration. My assumption was that anytime you combine things into one stack for convenience or efficiency, something will inevitably end up less than ideal.

What's the gap in dosing schedules? Could 3x per week serve as a kind of optimal middle ground?

I'm still getting the hang of the conversions and calculations—some people on here can just run those figures mentally.

Apologies for the delayed response.

I'm no expert, but from what I understand, TB-500 is dosed 3x per week, while BPC-157 is taken 1x-2x daily, applied at the target site.
