Hey everyone, I'm the new guy. Right now I'm using the name brand zepbound pens, and since December I've dropped 25 lbs. My insurance is covering it for sleep apnea at the moment, with no copay. I figure a denial is coming eventually, so I'm getting organized to move over to reta. The crypto side of things is a big learning curve and honestly kind of intimidating. Just dropping in to say hi and introduce myself.

Nice work on dropping the weight. Crypto's not as scary as people make it out to be. Just send a tiny $1 test transfer first before you move any serious money.

Welcome aboard! Nice work dropping those 25 lbs since December — really solid progress.

Plenty of folks around here followed a similar route: they began with a prescribed GLP such as Zepbound, realized how effective it was, and then started exploring other options in case their coverage shifts later on. Educating yourself now is a wise approach.

As for the crypto side, you're definitely not the only one figuring it out — almost everybody hits that "what did I just get myself into?" point early on. It comes across as tricky at first, but after you've done it once or twice, it usually clicks much better.

Thanks for saying hello. This community holds a ton of useful info and firsthand experience, so you're in a good spot to learn and get ready for whatever comes next. 👍

Nice work. Dropping weight feels great.

My own start on zepbound came through a 1-month sample provided by my doctor. Sadly, my insurance wouldn't pick it up, and paying $1100/mo (or the 500/mo zepbound rate) wasn't something I was willing to do. Rather than get into a fight over it, I went with a telehealth provider and bought months 2-5 for a lot less. These days I've been looking into gray markets and keeping everything as safe as I can. It's wild how much cheaper things get when you accept a bit of controlled risk.

Best of luck to you

That's fortunate! Coverage for apnea was denied by my insurer. Only diabetes qualifies, and pre-diabetes doesn't even count. These companies are so greedy.

Glad to have you here. Smart move getting things lined up ahead of time. Make sure you order grey a couple of months prior to running dry, since delivery can drag on.

Since they authorize a refill every 3 weeks, I've accumulated a solid supply. My pre authorization runs through July, so I doubt they'll cover again. By that point I'll definitely have a couple kits. I'm also interested in trying bpc157 regardless, working out hard in my 40s is definitely tough
