Hello, everyone. I just joined this forum. I already take Mounjaro, and I'm hoping to hear about other people's experiences with Retatrutide. Since I live in the Netherlands, I imagine I'll spend most of my time around the Continental Cafe 🙂

Appreciate it. Tirzepatide has already helped me drop roughly 30kg, though things have slowed down lately. That's why I'm thinking about moving over to Retatrutide — partly to see how a different option works, and partly because of the price.

Glad to have you here! How much tirz are you taking? Is there room to increase your dose, or have you hit the ceiling?

Right now my dose sits at 12,5mg. Going higher is an option, though I'm more inclined to test out Reta. That's partly down to the expense, and partly the GI problems.

When you move from tirz to Reta, the main issue is that appetite suppression falls off, since Reta binds less strongly to glp1 and gip receptors than tirz. It compensates, though, by activating the glucagon receptor, which raises your TDEE.

My girlfriend is on Reta right now (well.. picked it back up after using it for a few months) and at this point it's mostly a maintenance dose. I didn't go with Reta myself due to the RHR and the fact that I take beta blockers, but yeah Tirz is already providing me with solid suppression

Tirz keeps my appetite in check almost all the time, and it works really well for me. Every once in a while, though — very, very rarely — I end up binge eating. That's why the thought of moving over to Reta worries me: what if the appetite suppression fades?

I get that, it's the same in my case, I'll keep going with my current routine 🙂

Same here. That said, at the moment I'm looking into combining Tirza with Reta: I plan to titrate down by 1 step on Mounjaro while introducing 1mg of Reta, purely to find out how it turns out.

I'm also eager to see what kind of reaction you get from it. My "build up" phase has me scheduled for the 2.5mg injection. Up to this point, no problems.

Is it Mounjaro that you're using? Or perhaps a generic version of Tirz?
