Hey Forum Family,

I just joined this forum. My insurance stopped covering Zepbound Auto-inject pens, so I went ahead and purchased Tirz on my own through a compounding pharmacy. It's pure Tirz with nothing added. I'm a man standing 5'11". My starting weight was 240, and I've gotten down to 200. I'd like to drop roughly 30 more.

My real aim is to reach my goal weight and keep it there through maintenance. Tirz has given me nothing but positive results, but lately I've been looking into retatrutide after a friend mentioned it to me. I came here to find out how it's worked for other people and possibly give it a try myself.

Thanks y'all!!

Hey there, fellow Angelino! I'm out in the San Fernando Valley, where every sports event seems to come with a night of fireworks and explosions 😛 Tirz (compounded) is my lane too. If the Zepbound pen injector suited you, then I 100% recommend checking out peptidecritic's excellent walkthrough on filtering and transferring peptides. Some would say no filter is needed when you're moving from a sterile pharmacy vial into a sterile pen vial — but if you're reconstituting your own, then yes, filter it. Going from a 3ML pharmacy vial into a pen vial is straightforward with a couple of (very cheap) filters and needles. One warning though: use a vent needle. My first attempt blew the bottom clean out of my pen vial, and my precious peptides went off like a shotgun, plug and all 🙁

I actually went the other way round. Compounded tirz was my starting point, and I had to get past a fear of needles, injecting myself a fwe times with an insulin syringe, before I realised a pen transfer was possible (which struck me as easier for the global travel I had coming up). What I found was that the pen was far more convenient — and that I felt literally NOTHING going in. In fact, I stepped up from the 4MM needle to 5MM and then 6MM just so I could feel the pinch and know it was actually reaching my fat. All of which is to say: THE PEN INJECTOR IS AWESOME — and it's still easy to do with pharmacy issued/compounded peptides that arrive in a standard vial.

ohh thanks for sharing that video, I'm only just starting to do my own reconstituting, so this really helps a lot!

Hey everybody, popping in with a quick update. As of last night, my very first pep order from CN is officially placed. Picked up Tirz 30mg along with Reta 40mg. My plan is to raise the Reta dose gradually and bring the Tirz down to about 7.5-5mg/week, purely for keeping appetite in check. We'll see how that plays out.

Honestly, thank God for this forum — I've picked up a ton about moving through this gray market. About standing up for my own health. Grateful to every one of you.

Greetings from LA as well! Awesome stuff, dude. Solid progress. I'm not quite down at your level yet, but I'm putting in the work. Spent a couple YEARS on Wegovy, then made the jump to Mounjaro (tirz - Zepbound). Reta is tempting, but since Mounjaro is still covered for me, I figure why fix what isn't broken. I stand 6'1" and across the several years since I initially peaked around 320, I've come down to roughly 230. That said, 230 feels like a bit of a plateau. I've put in serious effort to hold onto muscle while shedding fat. Loads of EAAs, whey shakes, and high protein foods, yet keeping intake in the 1,600-2,000 calorie per day zone with minimal sugar aside from some fruit and the occasional rice - keto/carb cycling. But dude, aging is real. Tesa appears to be doing something for me now that I've run it for a longer stretch alongside a few other peps. I notice myself getting a bit leaner while the muscle pops a touch more. So perhaps sitting at 230 is fine for the moment. Going full HGH scares me somewhat, and I've heard of guys in my shoes actually GAIN some muscle AND fat weight on HGH. Sorry for going on. Glad to hear about the wins you're getting.
