Hey everyone.

I'm a 37 year old guy. Last year I began a TRT+ path, aiming to improve my shape and health. Things have gone pretty smoothly. There was a small hiccup a few months back, but now it's time to really ramp things up. At this point the aim is to reach roughly 10% bf, then add muscle. Being 200 lean would be great, and after that maybe I'd push toward 220, depending on how I look and feel at that point.

The main obstacle is breaking my snacking patterns, especially while I'm at work. I've adjusted parts of my diet to bring in more lean protein. Still, carbs are a strong craving for me, and I can go past my target without much trouble.

For around a year or so, my wife has been on pharma glp1. It helped her a lot, but she lost a fair amount of muscle along the way. My hope is that by keeping my protein up and staying consistent in the gym, I can keep that to a minimum. Only time will show how my body responds. Still, I'm happy to be here. 👍

Update here. Reta has been part of my routine for 11 weeks now. Today I moved the dose up to 5mg. 23lbs gone and 6%bf dropped. Right now I sit at 14.9%. Still chasing that 10% mark before I move into a clean bulk phase.

Also starting today, SLU is in the mix too, so I can push for the highest possible fat loss percentage.

Diet has stayed pretty strict. Protein goal comes first, fat intake stays low. Carbs make up whatever is left. Breakfast is usually eggs/whites, fat free cheese, and turkey sausage. For lunch and dinner it's rice with ground turkey or chicken. Rice cakes and protein bars cover snacks. A protein shake gets added on lift days. Total has been around 1500 calories. The weight came off a bit quicker than I wanted, so these past 3 weeks I've been raising my calorie intake. My aim is to stay under 1lb/week and ideally hold onto or even build muscle.

Training means moderate weight, high volume. 30+ minutes of cardio. With my work/life schedule I normally manage at least 3 days per week, though my job keeps me fairly active too.

Consistency is key! Can't wait to see what the next couple months bring with the addition of SLU.

Wow, those results are amazing!

Are you using SLU as an injection or taking it by mouth? I picked up some SLU, and every reconstitution method I attempted (DMSO at different concentrations) produced a cloudy white mess. I burned through a whole kit just trying to get it to mix.

Good to see you checking back in after being on this path for a while. Those numbers look excellent! What about keeping and building muscle? Are your lifts holding steady given how much time you put in at the gym? It's wild how much muscle our bodies can hold onto with so little stimulation. A few sets for each muscle group and 3x a week ought to be enough. That's my approach too. I'm 37 too. Need to get fit before hitting 40!

I went with injection. I saw something comparable, but I plan to keep using it and observe how things go.

My body comp scale shows a bit of muscle loss, yet visually over the last couple of weeks I've been noticing muscle gain. We'll see whether the scale catches up with that. My arms are clearly getting bigger, though. Now that I'm raising my calories, I'm attempting to lift somewhat heavier. On the whole my strength has dropped a little, but in a deficit that makes sense. Endurance has held up relatively well.

Has anyone else picked up on feeling anxious or having mood swings? While I was taking Tirz, my wife described me as acting like I was “pregnant”

Glad to have you here. Hitting 10% body fat is a bold target!! People often warn against setting the bar too high. I'm not on board with that mindset. Chase that 10! You've got what it takes to make it happen!!

Once you reach it, definitely share photos—that earns you serious bragging rights.
