YO WHAT’S GOOD EVERYONE! It’s your boy X, comin’ at ya,

Been on this ride since I was a lil husky dude.

Ball was my thing, but I gotta be honest—the green definitely helped pack on the pounds.

As time went on, I got into some mess, then flipped my whole life around and got shredded—"186 lbs 5% body fat".

Dropped a ton, nearly 80 lbs, all natural.

After my mom passed, a bunch of it crept back on, up until not too long ago.

Last 8 months I’ve shed 60 lbs, still sittin’ at 276 lbs, but no doubt there’s muscle under there,

So my curiosity and digging brought me to this spot, lookin’ to learn more about what’s legit,

And how to spot the real deal from the fakes, straight from folks who’ve already put in the time and know the game.

Appreciate y’all,

Stress really is the worst, right? For me it was grad school, my mom having a heart attack, and my husband getting diagnosed with cancer — that combo added 55 - 60 lbs. Years and years back, before GLPs even existed, I dropped 80lbs the natural way; it took 18 months. This time around I'm definitely thankful for how far compounds like tirz etc have come. Nice work on dropping those 60! That's a big accomplishment.

absolutely! I hit a wall whenever peps come up with my relatives or the people I work with — like I've landed on another world. Once I log in here, though, that sense of freedom hits me. Since I'm new around these parts, I'm still cautious about actually making a purchase.. every listing looks like it went through Photoshop

"Grey market" makes sense to me, but where does the trust go?

When it comes to US healthcare, my doubts run deep

I'm sorry too for everything you had to go through. In my view, it's the tough stuff that either drives us toward greatness or toward doing wrong — and here we're standing right at that boundary between the two, seen from the outside =]

Before my grandmother died, I was already steering through the healthcare world for her. Then came my mother—10 years of that—and for the past 5 years, my husband has been the one I advocate for. On top of that, I work as an occupational therapist in the medical field, so I've been able to pick up knowledge about medications from all sorts of providers—stuff the typical person never gets to hear. Putting all those pieces together, I can say this much: blind trust in the medical system is not something I'd ever advise. My approach is more like: trust, but keep your skepticism, and check everything.

It's almost comical—just a tiny peek into peptides shows you how much good and harm they might do. A few days back, we brought up peptides to my husband's oncologist, asking what he thought about using them alongside his existing treatments. Completely deadpan, he told us, “you can do all the peptides you want, it’s not going to do one thing or another. There’s no evidence to suggest otherwise.”

🤦🏻‍♀️

suppression at its best ugh.. Ive always said folks won't face the truth until it smacks them in the face or until they live it themselves but like you said there defiantly is some good and bad..

wolves in sheep's clothing,

And plenty of good people in between, medical workers for sure!

I see people giving so much back, like to my mom.

my mother had a muscle weakness disease that peps might well have treated, yet because "there's no evidence to suggest otherwise" she just passed away.

Her ashes are next to my bed and I tell her I love her every day,

And I wish I could have done better by her.

I don't know whether that gene runs in my blood, but I do know the food I eat is Important and that peptides NEED to be part of my regime.

this forum matters to me and finding something reliable feels critical to my health.

I really appreciate you talking with me,

You're from the bay..SF Bay Area? If that's where you're at, then we're both from that same part of California.

Either way, welcome. I'm new here too. Just here to pick up what I can. Picked up a bit from friends and reddit. Then I came across this place. Still dizzy over here. Way too much info at once.

yep, California is where I was born and raised! There are plenty of hurdles to clear, but I believe you've landed in the right spot — I mean 'we' — once we get everything dialed in, it'll all run like clockwork
