New Here, Saying Hi

Welcome aboard, and well done on the progress you’ve made with your weight. When I reached the end and reflected on everything, I saw that it had become a health journey overall. You’ll find plenty of discussion here about dropping pounds, but equally as much on overall wellness and health. Thanks for becoming part of our community.

Honestly, it became a complete health and wellness journey for me!

Dude, 145 is a total game changer, congrats
Honestly, it’s completely transformed my life! I appreciate it! Because of this, I’ve gotten to do a ton of incredible things that my size/weight used to hold me back from

Hey everyone! Down more than 145lbs, and at this point I'm on RETA both to keep it off and to shed those final pounds!
Wow, that's amazing! I wish to be where you are someday with that kind of loss, but right now I've only dropped a bit more than 40 lbs since starting. It's hard to picture just how much improved you must feel and all the extra things you can do now!

Nice work. Dropped 50lbs while on tirz 5mg, then chose to try reta on my own. Honestly it was mostly FOMO 😆
On tirz the hunger blunting felt stronger, but reta lets me keep up with my macro targets, which I prefer

That’s fantastic! Well done.

Would you mind detailing how you dosed the medication you took for weight loss, as well as your maintenance dosing for reta?

Right now I’m on 5mg of Reta each week. As for how I dropped the 145lbs, that came from counting calories and making sure I hit my macros. I went about it the "hard way," but these days my maintenance calories sit way lower than they did back when I was 370lbs, so Reta has been a life saver. Staying in a deficit was a lot simpler when my maintenance was 3500-4000.

Was reta the only thing you used to drop all that weight? From how you put it, it came across like you might have been taking something else earlier.

How did your dose go up each time?

I dropped the pounds without any medication, but I've started taking them now because my maintenance calories have dropped so significantly
