A while back I used semaglutide from a compounding pharmacy, around $200 each month. Over roughly 5 months my weight went from about 240 pounds down to about 210 pounds. Eventually the semaglutide stopped having much effect. On top of that, I didn't want to spend an extra $100 just to raise the dose, so I stopped GLPs altogether.

Now I've come back and I'm ready to purchase and reconstitute it on my own. I had planned to use one of those American resellers, but after digging deeper and finding this place, I can see they slap on a literal 1000% markup. What they do is grab a vial straight from China, then sell 1 vial to cover the entire cost of that kit. I'm glad I came across this forum, it'll save me a ton of money.

I'm still unsure about retatrutide, I don't know how risky the glucagon mechanism or raising my burn rate might be.

Nice work.

Yeah, suppliers in the US really jack up the prices.

It comes down to whatever health problems you have right now. If there are cardiac concerns, retatrutide shouldn't be taken because it raises heart rate.

How fast you burn through it isn't really the problem. What matters is how it affects the heart.

My overall health is decent, judging by my Garmin HRV (90-110) and resting heart rate (mid 40s). I'm just questioning whether it's overkill. Semaglutide treated me well, and I figure tirz would work well too.

Hi and welcome! Since you've already tried semaglutide, you're coming into this with real firsthand knowledge. Dropping roughly 30 Ibs is a real accomplishment. It makes sense that the price and hitting a stall would have you exploring alternatives. This place has plenty of material to dig into, and I hope it gives you some clarity. Happy to see you join us
