Hi all!
I'm a new member from Manchester, England — sunny Manchester, as we like to say. I came across this forum almost by chance while trying to pick up lessons from other people's experiences and knowledge, since I'm just starting out on my own journey. Over the past few weeks I've been working my way through a huge amount of material, and it's already clear to me that there's plenty of misinformation circulating.
Last year was my breaking point: the scales read 203kg. Even basic physical tasks left me breathless or in pain, and every day felt like a struggle. I chose to give mounjaro a try, and over 12 months I dropped roughly 70kg — the results were unbelievable!
Unfortunately the price increase put the medication out of reach for me, and I'm sure plenty of others feel the same. Reluctantly, I decided to stop paying for it.
As many people have experienced, the weight has begun creeping back and I'm now at 150kg. So I'm here to learn from others and to do some research into what's achievable within my budget.
That's my story. I hope to learn, and in time to contribute, so that the knowledge I gain along the way might help others in the future.
