Hey everyone,

I'm a guy in his early 30s living in the UK. As far as my history goes, I got into bodybuilding — well, really weightlifting — from ages 16 to 21, back when all I cared about was getting as strong as I could and had no real clue about food or nutrition!

When I first started lifting weights I was 140lbs and six foot tall, skinny and fresh-faced, training with a mate who belonged to the weight lifting club while I was over in the states. Being 16 and from the UK, I'd already sat enough exams that the last two years of high school weren't needed. I do feel like I missed out on some of the social side, but thankfully my best friend set me straight. His step dad had a garage home gym and the man was JACKED. My strength went up really well — even though I never got above 150lbs bodyweight, I was chuffed to be benching 225 (100kg) for 3 reps. As a kid I'd been fat and lost it all by riding my bike everywhere as I grew into my frame, so my legs were strong. I can still recall squatting 315 lbs (140kg) for sets of 8-10.. Deadlifts? Ha! Getting 225 without my back arching horribly was a win.

Later on I came back to the UK, built the strength back up, and finally took my best friend's advice on diet. I followed a solid plan: oats and a weight gainer shake for breakfast, a big chicken breast with rice in the morning, another weight gainer around lunch, then steak and rice mid afternoon so I was ready for the gym after work. I went from 145lbs up to 185, then from 185 to 220 (100kg).

Life stuff (girlfriends, ffs!) had me yo-yoing and ending up back at square one more than once..

Eventually I chose to join the "dark side" and mess with my hormones. I could talk your ear off about the various substances I ran back then — I got obsessed with learning about it all.

My best physique came during covid, when I was a solid 235lb at six foot tall. No idea what body fat % that was, but I was very vascular and if I pulled the skin down I could see number 7 and 8 of my 8 pack haha. My diet was completely different then, but it did exactly what I needed.

A few years on and I'm training once more. My best friend, the one who got me lifting, had told me about peptides several times (ehhh I'm on the "real" stuff I thought, why bother?). Once wkrh peptides started getting enough attention I finally decided to try them. Leaving mt2 out of the list (amazing stuff, I love being golden), someone local hooked me up with a few peptides to help my recomp as I went from 'dad bod who used to lift' back toward looking like a bodybuilder.

What I've used so far:

Retraglutide

Ss31

Mots C

Glow blend (ghkcu, bpc157, tb500)

The results so far have been incredible. The most interesting part was experimenting with the dosage and timing of Mots C. Once I'd figured out how to tune the dose and timing so it meshed with my nutrition, the 2 vials I had were a lot of fun and made me feel great.

So here I am, still 230lbs just like when my recomp phase began a few months back, except the dad bod belly is gone. It's flat, my love handles are disappearing, my chest is leaning out so it and my shoulders pop, and my arms show better definition than just 'big'.

Compared to plenty of you guys on here I'm just a small fry, but competing was never something I wanted and I'm loving living life on my own terms. I love it when people say I look like a viking or a rugby player!

If you made it through all that, thank you! Even if you've got nothing to say, just let me know so I know one soul read what took me a long time to write haha.

I'm also happy to answer questions about anything, mostly peptides/substances effects, nutrition, and how they all worked when tailored to how my body works. I'd be glad to hear the same from anyone who got this far!

I might need to check the rules again before I reply, but I'm looking forward to joining the community!

I wrote all of this out myself, no AI slop here, so hopefully this posts and doesn't error out! Looking forward to maybe making some new friends!

Have a great day 🙂

Writing all this by hand, no AI involved 😆

Joking aside, though, that sounds like a serious path, and everyday reality tends to clash with what we're aiming for. Wishing you success in reaching your target. From the sound of it, you've put in more effort than the majority, so it's well earned.

Hey, good to see you here! Peptides really do change things, so I'm not at all surprised you're enjoying them this much!
