New Here, Got Scammed, Ready to Learn More

Hey everyone, my handle is ilovemoney119 (yeah, ironic), and I'm pretty new to the pepper scene — only been digging into it for roughly 2 weeks. Not long ago I made a purchase from a vendor and ended up losing about 1.1k through moonpay. Gotta hand it to them, they played me well with a bogus tracking number and a fake postal email. That whole thing knocked me down a peg, but you live and you learn, so I'm keeping my chin and chest up and doing more research. I'm hoping to connect with more people who think like me and hopefully avoid getting scammed a second time. Anyway, that's plenty about me — I'm excited to get to know you all!!

Ouch! I bet that stung...yeah, sadly scammers are all over the place, so figuring things out early on can feel overwhelming. This community is a solid spot to pick up the details.

I'm finding this forum to be a really great source of knowledge. I don't have everything figured out yet, but the more I look around, the more I pick up. Spend plenty of time going through many different threads over an extended period, and certain patterns will start to become clear. Best of luck
