Hey all! GLPs and Peptides are both new territory for me, though I've been reading up for a while and finally went ahead with Reta. Quick stats: 42yrs old, male, 6'1", 245lbs. My starting dose was 1mg, and the first 2 weeks have me down 10lbs. Looking forward to picking up more knowledge and experimenting with some different things!

Since I have no other place to post, I figure nobody will see this, but here it is anyway!

Reta at 4 weeks: what's changed

  • Beginning: 245 lbs, 6’1”
  • 16 lbs lost over 4 weeks

How I've dosed

  • Week 1: 1 mg
  • Week 2: 1 mg
  • Week 3: 1.5 mg
  • Week 4: 2 mg
Appetite suppression kicked in on day 1, no joke. Right now eating is the toughest piece- I'm trying to put protein first, but my deficit is fairly large and on certain days nothing sounds good.

Doing a bit of CrossFit, currently just 1–2x/week. Energy comes and goes, and my schedule hasn't made it easier.

Sleeping well. Nausea only hit me once, and that was from eating too much. Reflux is slightly worse than usual, though not severe.

All in all, the results have been real so far, but I'm hardly eating lol. Wondering how everyone else deals with protein, energy, and reflux as the dose climbs.

That's a solid beginning! My build is comparable, though I'm younger and carry a bit more weight. I began at a very low dose, 0.5 every few days. After 6 weeks I've worked up to 1.5mg and the results have been good.

Usually my biggest protein meal comes at night, once I've finished training. Having it before a workout leaves me feeling nauseous, so I get protein in both in the morning and at night.

For me the worst side effect has been either not dropping off right away or waking up in the middle of the night and staying up for a few hours.

Welcome aboard! That's impressive progress — dropping 10 lbs over 2 weeks while on 1 mg is a solid beginning. It seems like you're taking the right approach to Reta.

Also, if you happen to root for the Seahawks… best of luck in the Super Bowl 🏈💙💚

Happy to have you join us, and I'm excited to learn alongside everyone.
