Hello all,

Glad to be part of this space — I’ve been lurking for a while and finally hit join.

For quite some time I’ve been managing chronic golfer’s elbow, and after working through nearly all the standard routes, I’m now digging into alternative strategies and listening to what has genuinely worked for other people. On top of that, I was recently in an accident that resulted in multiple fractures and other musculoskeletal injuries, so regaining full function has moved even higher on my list.

I’m also deeply into health, fitness, and performance optimization overall — that’s another reason I’m here.

My day job is in healthcare, and endocrinology/metabolism is a field I’m well versed in. I enjoy reading, researching, and being cautious about risk, but I equally appreciate hands-on experience from those who’ve lived through similar situations.

I’d love to link up with others here, particularly anyone who’s faced chronic injuries, recovery setbacks, or performance targets alongside all of that.

Excited to learn and, where I can, give back as well.

What a coincidence this post showed up! I play in a golf league, and a buddy of mine from that group was dealing with a really rough elbow problem. His pattern was: out for 2 weeks, return for 1, out for 3, return for 2…

So what turned it around for him? Me staying on him to try peptides, and then… KPV! You can use it orally or subq — subq is what I reach for. For me it's a shot into the midsection, 1x per day (that's my inflammation stopper), though going 2x per day, morning and evening, can support the golfer's elbow if you keep it steady for 2 weeks. You still have to put in the work too, things like counterforce training (curls!). Next thing you know, you're back out there! After that, just stay consistent with KPV, usually 5 days on/2 off.

Thank you for the note and for passing along what you went through — it genuinely means a lot.

KPV isn't something I'd claim much knowledge about, though I have come across a fair amount of discussion around peptides such as BPC-157 and TB-500 in the context of tendinopathies. These days I'm close to being willing to test out other routes, yet I still try to stick with options that carry at least some human clinical evidence behind them.

Up to now I've worked through a fairly broad range of treatments — anti-inflammatories, a variety of physiotherapy modalities, ESWT, electrical stimulation, whirlpool, and structured rehab.

The biggest and most lasting gain so far has come from structured training—curls in particular—though sadly it hasn't turned out to be a complete fix.

As things stand, the only evidence-based routes left untried on my end are steroids, PRP and surgery. Because steroid injections mostly bring symptom relief and come with possible drawbacks, I've deliberately steered clear of them. My plan now is to go ahead with PRP and gauge how far it can take me before I weigh peptides or anything more invasive. Surgery is something I'd rather hold in reserve until nothing else is left.

Thanks once more for sharing — hearing other viewpoints is always useful.
