A woman who's just starting to learn about peptides, that's me. Tirzepatide was part of my routine for roughly 6 months; the outcomes were okay, yet I dealt with side effects since I didn't know much about peptides at the time. Once I learned about Retatrutide, I fell deep into the peptide rabbit hole. No single product works for everyone, and getting to know other peptides has made me eager to figure out my own best fit.

What side effects did you experience while on T that you're looking to lessen by switching to R

If Triz gave you unpleasant reactions, I'd suggest being cautious and beginning with a small dose—Ret will probably cause even stronger side effects for you. Which side effects did you experience? There might be ways to manage them

My honest view is that people begin at doses that are too high. As others have pointed out, it would help to know a bit more about the side effects you had!

With Tirz, the first thing I noticed was headaches following my shots—even at 2.5mg, they came across like tension headaches and stuck around for the first 2 days or so. On top of that, I was so fatigued that getting out of bed felt impossible. Then there was the nausea, the constipation, and hair loss.

Because I was using a subscription service, they'd ship me 4 vials—precisely the amount I needed to inject each week for that month. By the time I decided I'd had enough, I'd climbed to 12mg, and I only used 3 out of the 4 vials since I couldn't stand it.

The week I stopped Tirz, my energy came surging back, the headaches disappeared, and using the bathroom became effortless. As for Reta, I went grey and gradually titrated upward. I put more emphasis on staying hydrated, getting more protein, and paying attention to any shifts—and pulling back—whenever something felt off.
