Hi all, I'm completely new to this. I suppose as the years go by, you begin to understand you won't live forever, and you want to improve your health for your own sake and for your family. I'm just here to pick up knowledge and work on becoming a better version of myself so I can stick around as long as possible for my wife and kids. Glad to be part of this.

I'm a 42 year old father. There was a time when I was in really good shape, but after becoming a dad, things went downhill.

Now I'm trying to get back into decent shape, both for myself and for my kids. I've put on a lot of weight over these past years, and I'd really love to get down to something decent (at least by my own standards) that lets me look good and stay fitter for my kids so I can do things with them.

Welcome and I hope you reach your goals!

I'm a 45 Y/O father, and my 3 year old tests my patience every single day. LOL, just keep at it and welcome!

Yeah, there was a time when I was in shape too 😂 I figure that's a plus for us — a bit of muscle memory plus the know-how.

Best of luck with your own journey too! I'm kicking off reta this week; tomorrow could be day one for me, I'm just waiting for a few things to arrive in the mail. I'm excited to get going, though also nervous, since this is unlike anything I've ever done.

Reta is part of the plan, and I'm leaning hard on muscle memory 🤣
