Hello, I'm a new member joining from Australia.

My GLP-1 journey began a few years back, and about 9 months ago I made a switch.

I've reached my target weight now and am focused on building muscle. I joined this forum hoping to learn more and exchange experiences with others.

Great job! Which medication are you taking, and what was your total loss on the way to goal?

I spent a long stretch on Seme and have since moved to Tirz; I'm nearly 30kg down now. Still need to get going on muscle building, since roughly 10kg remains before I hit goal weight.

Nice work! How are you liking tirz? I hadn't realized how unwell sema made me feel until I made the change.

I began with sema and then moved to reta roughly 9 months back. In the past I dropped over 30kg and kept it off for 15 years, but then gained 10kg unexpectedly in my mid 40s. I lost that plus about another 7kg. I'm also taking hgh, which has been a help.

Congrats on the success! How have you managed to maintain the weight loss since hitting your goal weight, and do you see glp1s remaining a permanent part of your routine?

Hi.

I'm also curious to hear what your maintenance routine looks like, and whether you've begun taking anything since then to support muscle building.
For maintenance I currently take 2mg of reta each week, though I expect to stop it before long. I'm 46yo female, and besides the reta I use hgh for muscle building; I've had bloods and hormones etc checked. The gym has been part of my life for 20 years, but lately I've shifted my training focus toward weights plus walking, lifting heavy to failure.

I still have roughly 8kgs to go before hitting my goal, so my plan is to remain on 7.5 of Tirz and add Reta gradually. My hope is that 2 will get me where I want, possibly 4, and then I can lower the Tirz and Reta if needed. At that point I'll likely start looking into some kind of muscle building, though I'm a bit worried because of shoulder injuries I've had in the past.

I'm relying on lifestyle adjustments, working out, and prioritising protein. I'd like to stop taking the GLP, but I'm afraid of regaining weight.
