Once I've shed pounds using Ozempic, my plan is to change over to Retatrutide so I can drop some extra body fat.

What's the number of weeks I ought to hold off before beginning the Reta, to allow the Ozempic to leave my system??

You don't have to wait to make the change—begin at a small dose. That said, since you've already used Ozempic, a small dose will probably have a weaker effect on you.

You could begin at the starter amount of 0.5 mg, then add more a few days afterward (for example, 0.5 mg up to 1.5 mg), guided by how you feel.

When first using a new GLP, side effects can be stronger, yet going as high as 2 mg of reta for the initial week would likely be okay as a starting dose, matching what was done in the reta trials. A number of individuals on here and in the studies began with larger doses such as 3+ mg:

Phase 2 data explicitly demonstrated that starting at 2 mg rather than 4 mg helped mitigate dose-related gastrointestinal adverse events, such as nausea and vomiting (Jastreboff et al., 2023; Rosenstock et al., 2023).
