MOTS-C consistency after flight

I take flights across Australia often, and I bring ice packs to keep my pep's cold by wrapping them up.

When I checked this morning, my MOTS-C had become a thicker, almost jelly-like liquid. Obviously I didn't inject it, but now I'm left with questions and wondering if anyone else has run into this.

1. Did the ice packs make it too cold at the beginning of the trip, which then altered the consistency? Once I got home, the vial went into the fridge.

2. Is it possible that the pressure change across several hours and 2 flights led to the thicker consistency?

3. Could there be an issue with the MOTS-C itself that made it turn out this way?

4. Is this something MOTS-C does as it sits in the fridge and gets older in the vial?

The vial is the 40mg reconstituted with 3ml of BA, and the Mix was only 8 days old.

Appreciate all responses and experience from others

Cheers

G'day all,

I should have looked into this before, but after doing some digging I came across this.

Figured I'd pass it along.

My guess is this could apply to other peptides too, when there are higher mg's in a 3ml vile

Has anyone else run into this, particularly those who travel

Appreciate it, mate. I'm about to reconstitute Mots-c myself, so this comes at just the right time. Broadly speaking, it tells me Mots-c needs a more diluted solution. I hadn't come across that before.

Hi Tbird, over the past week I ran into the very same issue with mots, and I figured the concentration was to blame. After reconstituting it, everything seemed fine, but since it was a 10mg vial and I only needed 5mg twice weekly, I decided to use just 0.1ml of bac instead of my usual 0.2ml. Into the fridge it went, no problems. When I checked on it 3days later, it had become somewhat white and semi solid/jelly. I warmed it in my hand for a bit and then let it sit on the counter for 30mins, and after a few swirls it returned to normal. So I'm thinking next time I'll just go back to my regular 0.2/5 as before.

Am I reading that right — you mixed 10mg of the compound using just 0.1ml of bac water? Or have I got that wrong? My Mots-c vials are also 10mg and I was planning to put in 1ml, but now I'm second-guessing myself, because perhaps you actually meant 1ml rather than 0.1ml? Can you clarify?

For my reconstitution, I used 10mg of mots combined with 0.2ml of bac in total, meaning every shot contained 5mg of mots in 0.1ml of bac.

When I do it again, I'll return to my previous recon method that never gave me issues: 10mg of mots mixed with 0.4ml of bac, then 0.2ml per injection. At that dilution, it stayed clear for me before.
