I'm sharing this in case it benefits someone, since it has made a huge difference for me.

Before, my only measure of success was whether the number on the scale dropped. Whenever it stalled or crept down slowly, I'd doubt the whole approach, quit, or switch things up. That pattern hasn't repeated this time. Sure, combining Tirz & Reta has contributed, but across the last 80 days there have been plenty of highs and lows that in the past would have knocked me off track.

So here's what changed.

1) Gemini serves as my AI coach, and it supplies feedback I never had before. For instance: (today's weight is 221.7. Gemini: You're at the same weight as yesterday, so don't alter anything — this counts as a successful day. After leg day, scale noise is common and can show up as water gain between 0.2 and .05 lbs. Holding steady means fat loss is still happening, just hidden by exercise-related water.)

2) Across the first 45 days I dropped 3.3lbs weekly, while over the last 3 weeks it's been roughly 1.2 lbs weekly. Gemini: That's normal for this point in your cut. The easy water and inflammation weight is gone, you have less fat left, and since you're working hard to keep lean body mass, the scale will slow as your body recomposes.

At my age, this round is about recomp as much as dropping weight, so non-scale victories and what I see in the mirror matter more than the number itself. Every other Sunday I take measurements, and watching the tape shift has motivated me more than the scale moving.

I picked up a Hume scale to follow my trends (not the specific numbers), and seeing them all point the right way keeps me encouraged, because sometimes weight stays put while measurements and how clothes fit still change.

If you hit a mental plateau, I'd suggest bringing in a coach and paying attention to your non-scale victories — I love my Gemini coach.

Thanx Pep stacker, big shifts in BF and waist — impressive. One month in for me and the waist has come down a touch. Early days. I've avoided a BF scale so far, holding out until the bodyscan2 shows up in the next few months
