Monday morning ads!

I suppose it's due to the 12h time zone difference, but every Monday morning we seem bombarded with "Dear" vendor price list updates, under the guise of "New Posts".

Those aren't new posts! It's the equivalent of watching TBS and having 17 commercials in a row. /rant

I agree. I think a lot of threads get lost when there is a huge batch of vendor ads. If its not on the first page, most people probably won't see it.

Vendors are important both for members, both to find legitimate contact information and to keep this thing going financially. A way to filter that would be nice but maybe not in the economic interest of the board.

Some mornings are loaded with these, but as @5byfive said, it keeps the lights on. We pay nothing to join here.

Use the "Ignore" feaure. You can always un-ignore them when you actually want to see them.
