alright, ran the first batch through the printer and the quality has me disappointed. really makes me regret not dropping way more cash on a printer that does color. oh well though, thats just how learning goes, and once i show myself i can pull this off i can always spend more later.

so i sized the labels correctly, got them printed, and then laid a sheet of matte laminate on top. according to Cricut " its got this " so my only job is to stick this sheet onto the mat, feed it into the cricut, and let it run.

fingers crossed!!!

Lets goooo!!!
Aren't those oversized for a vial? What don't I get here?
not at all! they could end up being oversized for a vial, but word is the sizing is right—I'll confirm once I have them at home, since there are no vials here at work 🙁
In my view, they seem intended for a 10ml vial. Keep us posted. Just wondering??
you're right, these aren't any good at all. the cutter barely made it through, so size aside, every one of these is a throwaway attempt. I'll know more once I bring them home tonight.

on top of that, the sharpness just isn't there. I might go after an epson pro-200 if I can't bring these up to my own standards, but yes, I will definitely stick one on a vial to check it out, that's in the plans, thank you!!!

Nice work, friend! Definitely nicer than the "plain" Nimbot I picked up.. though honestly, any Nimbot still counts as an upgrade in my book 😆😆

Alright, take a look at these ones I made.

Keep the mat in the cricut rather than unloading it, then check whether the cut went through by attempting a peel while it's still loaded. If it hasn't gone through, run another cut — only the cut, not the print order. With every new material I also do a test cut so I can tweak pressure. In the custom materials section, you can also pick a material that calls for repeated cut times. My usual approach is to mess with settings until they work, then save under a material name that fits.
