Nope, there's no vetting process. The only reason a vendor shows up is that they handed over payment for the spot. Nothing more to it.
Should a particular vendor catch your eye, run their name through the search bar to find out what others have experienced. Take a look at the vendor reviews area. Peek at their telegram too. Just keep in mind that losing what you paid is always a possibility, and the reasons for that vary.

With marketplace vendors, a major advantage is that you can be sure the telegram/whatsapp/discord links are genuine. Distinguishing an actual group from a bot scam is often tricky. So trusting them automatically isn't possible, yet the links ought to at least be legitimate.
