Hello everyone,
Finding this community made me happy. A couple months into my tirzepatide journey is where I am, at 5 mg a week (split doses), and 20 pounds have come off so far (from 249 to 199), so new is still how it feels - the biggest drop came in the first three weeks.
A learning curve has been part of it, I'll admit - getting comfortable with the medication and rethinking how meals get planned for my family, since head cook and nutritionist has been my role for 30 years.
Breaking old patterns and building healthier ones is the focus right now: food choices kept simple, protein pushed up, hydration kept up, and regular movement made part of the routine. Weights get lifted most nights and a couple of miles get walked doing laps in the Auto Museum I am the Director of.
Learning from all of you and sharing updates as I go is what I'm excited about.
