Low test at 33 - is enclomiphene the smarter first move before TRT?

Personally i cannot see the appeal of enclomiphene over test, though that is only my view. I am prescribed 225mg/week and it has me feeling 18 again.

TRT can bring acne, shrink your testicles, cut your sperm count, and so on. On top of that, the body may decide it no longer needs to produce its own T and simply shut production down for good.

Acne has never been an issue for me across 20 years of steroids, hcg keeps the balls plump, and i never intend to come off trt. The sperm part is fair - plenty of people conceive while on it, but when there is a problem it usually takes extra drugs to help out (hcg, hmg, clomid and so on). For performance and physique, the injections win comfortably.

Normally that only shows up at bigger doses, which is exactly what PCT covers, Hcg included.

My neutral take: 225 mg of test will leave most men feeling better than enclo. If i thought i could get away with it, i would run 250 a week (or 500). By 30 myself, PCT was off the table (though i had 3 kids with no trouble). Back before enclo was widely known, doctors routinely handed out clomid and/or HCG instead of test. So to me it comes down to personal choice. I was never the type to start dabbing on some crème.
