Hello everyone

I've been on prescription Mounjaro for roughly 12 months, and I want to give Reta a go for the remaining pounds.

On top of that, legit MJ prices here in the UK are painfully high.

Right now I'm figuring out how to source it.

Mixing powder myself doesn't put me off at all.

On the grey market, tirz costs far less than either MJ or reta, so if saving money is what brought you here, that might matter. When tirz (mj) is already doing right by you, I would not switch anything. My own path: 7 months on prescribed mj, then 2 weeks of reta with no real justification. It did not deliver what I hoped. After 8 months of use in total, sitting at 5 mg, I reached my GW. Now I am back on tirz at a maintenance dose and content with that. Currently running grey market tirz, and I noticed nothing different from MJ. For the past 8 weeks I have pinned ipa5 every day, and over the last 4 weeks I also brought in cjc5, aiming to hold onto muscle.

Reta was something I gave a shot too, but in the end I returned to Tirz. For me it cost less and gave better results. Unlike what many others report, Reta didn’t make a major difference in my case — though that’s only my own experience.

Is 5mg the maintenance amount?

Appreciate it — I've still got around 1 genuine 15mg pen, so I might microdose that to start and then reassess.

No! My Mounjaro journey began at 2.5mg. After 4 weeks I titrated up to 5mg, and across 24 weeks I did not titrate any further. For the past 4 weeks my maintenance dose has been 3.3 mg. Within 2 days I will bring it down to 2 mg. My height is 1.80m, SW: 101 kg, LW: 24kg, GW: 77.

Because of how the pen is built, there is always 0,5ml remaining at the end of a MJ pen that you are unable to inject. One option is to remove the 3ml glass cartridges from the MJ pen, put them into an insuline pen and use them that way. Another option is to draw the leftover out using an insuline syringe and inject it separately.

I never used Mj — my experience was with Ozebic. It didn’t do much for me, yet Reta worked miracles for both my well-being and my health. Still, consulting a doctor first is the wiser move before giving it a go.
