Is there any data out there about injecting BPC and TB at the injury location rather than just doing a general shot?

What's behind the question: I take klow every day, and right now there's inflammation around a few facet joints in my back, plus possible irritation near the ac joint in my shoulder, which has been operated on before.

The back was awful, though it's improving now, and the shoulder flares up from time to time. I'm trying to work out whether going local actually adds anything over systemic. Neither of those spots has much fat to shoot into, which I hadn't realized could be a problem.

I looked into it, but real-world reports are scarce - mostly just 'maybe's. Anyone here have positive or negative experiences with local injections after already running systemic?

I'm also not convinced BPC or TB would do anything for my problems, local or not, compared with plain anti-inflammatories - though it's possible the daily klow is already speeding up my recovery more than usual.

From my own experience, when I’ve shot the bpc/tb combo close to the problem area, the relief has been noticeable. Whether it was my shoulder, my lower back, or my knee, that held true. The knee was tricky, though—I ended up putting it into a fatty fold of skin right above the knee.

Since I ride mountain bikes, I’m basically banged up all the time, so I have a solid sense of how long I usually take to bounce back. With injections at the site, I’ve seen recovery happen in roughly half the time.

I've tried BPC both locally and systemically, and for my rotator cuff the local approach gave me better results. As for TB, I've mostly taken it systemically, though for my last 2 doses spaced 3 days apart, I've combined it with IGF-DES and injected all 3 at the local site.

Far as I am concerned, the local route reaches the whole body every bit as well as the systemic route does.

My own shots go SQ into abdomen and thigh, and the shoulders and elbow are what improved.

I realize doctors don't get much love around here, since we're essentially treating ourselves. This particular person isn't my physician; I simply appreciate how he simplifies concepts and presents them in an understandable way. He genuinely prescribes peptides to patients in regenerative medicine. Check out 41:20 - 43:40, I'm inclined to trust him and just go with Sub-Q.

Appreciate everyone's responses.

@RubbaDubba1 that video was a great share, super informative (the woman was a bit much though), and his point about it not crossing the fascia clicks for me. From what he described, it seems like my best window for BPC+TB would be ahead of hitting the gym or heading out for a run, whereas I'd been dosing it right before sleep.
