Anyone know any of those sites, or how the product was marketed there? I would have
thought far better known sites would be the target. If this is apparently a "gray" area of legality,
then what tipped the decision to sue, I wonder. Meaning the peptide vendors specifically, not the med
spas or compounders.

The low hanging fruit here is compounders and medi-spas...and US single vial resellers look just as
exposed....

How much money EL is willing to throw at it will settle the rest...

so where did the label 'retatrutide' actually originate?... did EL invent it, because that certainly is not the name they will sell it under....

Interesting, what are you getting at ? I

Eli lilly have listed retatritude as the name in the trials, so that seems to confirm EL originated it. My reading is that retaritude may serve as the generic name so far, with the amino sequence going by it. Does it hinge on whether the generic name got patented, or is that simply not allowed ? But novo originally ran trials with ozempic as the medication name, did they not. Semaglutide is the generic, so I am left a bit confused.

They could have 'copywrite' the name and pursued that as a separate matter, though it deters less
effectively than a patent infringement suit....that is what had me curious, since reta and tirz get
used generically by other companies and everyone else to describe other people's products...

EL is probably just irritated that the name they chose, Retatrutide, gets pronounced
RUH-TA-TRUE-TYDE by the company that coined it. Yet every YouTuber/Influencer — the so called medical
professionals and doctors included, who really should know better — goes with REHTA-TRUE-TYDE. That has
gotta burn 😛 😛 😛
Heard a looksmaxing guru pronounce it as

"ruh-TAH-tra-tide"

It is interesting and I have had a look — EL holds the patent on the drug itself, not on the name.
Retaritude is a generic drug name, so any company may call a drug retaritude while being barred from
EL's actual compound. Patents do expire eventually, though, and compounding happens, so it probably
comes down to the law in a specific country. All of this can be found from EL directly. Not quoted,
but paraphrased.

Yeah, they hold assets, pose as medical professionals and are so far past the line it stopped being funny. A few people around my town sell reta, I know of them. (One I know personally, and I doubt she grasps the risk she is running with her nursing license.) Cases like those EL can win without even trying.

The typical single vial reseller, as far as I can tell, is a guy across town running it out of his garage. Plenty of those guys taking zelle payments while moving hundreds or thousands of vials will hit major IRS problems sooner or later.

Sellers with any kind of 'presence', even the small single vial operations, can be shut down by EL
going after financial and social media sources, cutting pep trade businesses off from their services
unless they want the big pharma wrath…

Yeah, passing the accounts they have found to Zelle and demanding they be shut down would be easy. Hell, their attorneys could put an intern on google, have a bunch of them found, and send over a list of the accounts.

Eli Lilly is on the Lookout for illegal Reta sales.

It was only a matter of time. The link surfaced while I was hunting around for Reta trial information. https://www.yahoo.com/news/us/articles/eli-lilly-sues-6-companies-112604743.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall

Brings back that Korean English teacher who became famous for saying "orange" as "uh-reen-ji".

Went through some of the court docs from the actual filing and one of the "RUO" brands
had a "Retatrutide Dosage Calculator"

Makes a mockery of Research Use Only... Nobody put them in this position except themselves.
