Yeah! I just went through something new, more or less. Reta was started by me 2 days back. Besides the disrespectful and untouchable obesity that keeps tormenting me, the hateful diabesity also messed with my head. At minimum, 20 points vanished from my IQ. I've been digging everywhere for nootropics, and several have been tried by me, with results that varied and were for the most part negligible. Modaf stands out as 1 exception. My way of checking them is always a Wonderlic test. This version has 50 questions in 12 minutes. With no help, the standard one, I get through it in roughly 10 minutes, and a score somewhere from 55 to 60 comes out. How that works, I have no clue. When on Modaf, my time is about 9 minutes and the score lands near 60-62. I bought 6 bottles covering 6 different compounds from a certain "chemists from Switzerland", then tried 2 of them together with Modaf. Bemethyl and Methylene Blue are those 2. Last week I gave it a test, and played a trick on family members who assumed Harpic had been used in the toilet bowl after I urinated [[Q1]], yet my cognition was barely moved by it.

Today, though, the situation was not the same, and saying that is putting it mildly. The modaf-bemethyl-methylene blue trio was taken by me in the morning. Forty minutes later, something happened to me. My breathing shifted, my vision got sharper, and the biggest thing was that my mind felt different. The wonderlic thingy was done by me in 7 minutes. That mark has been reached by me before, so it wasn't conclusive. Next I took the Stanford-Binet standard test. Normally I land between 150 and 160 on it, which is lower than my teenage Triple 9 entry score. But today the 160 was hit by me with time left over. The only thing I can figure changed is the Reta. So this whole tldr background is there to ask: Has anyone here taken Nootropics while using Reta or other GLPs? Do any of you take 'brain candy'?

P.S:- It sure is fun, when you hit social media with your teenage brain. Especially them political groups.

My introduction to Nootropics came around 2006/2007. I've been using them on and off since roughly 2010. That continues to this day. However, at this point, anything taken via oral ROA needs a bit of timing tweaking.

Which nootropics do you mean? And what happens if you stop taking them for several months?

If methyl blue is turning your pee a different shade, your dosage has to be way too high.

Like Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, Reta works through the dopaminergic system—in plain terms, it lowers impulsivity. Evidence is quite solid that it helps those with ADHD. Beyond that, we can't claim much, since studies on this are scarce.

Huh...a dopamine agonist? Blunting impulsivity? Odd... worth reading up on.

Not an agonist at all — it's a modulator. What it does is lower the firing rate of dopaminergic neurons tied to the reward pathway, which is why impulsivity goes down.

Ah, right—that clears it up. So it's about removing cravings. Understood.

I own methyl blue in liquid form, but it doesn't do much for me. That said, taking too much of it can be poisonous. On top of that, studies don't point to any specific advantages.
