hey hey — signed up today, though the subject itself is old news to me haha. im 35, i lift and play volleyball, so the fitness part isnt starting from scratch; what im after now is genuinely lean by summer, and glps looked like the obvious route.
the wolverine stack first crossed my radar on reddit roughly a year back. i picked it up off one of the clearweb shops for a ridiculous markup, it did the job and i was pleased. what kept nagging me was how often people said sourcing direct beats both a clinic and that kind of markup — except every attempt to work out the vendor side of this hobby dead-ended fast. theres so much noise out there that telling a solid seller from a dud was beyond me.
so the plan is to do this properly rather than get burned: get my head around sourcing fundamentals, learn what a COA is actually telling me, and work out a sane entry point for somebody whose only real goal is a decent summer cut without wrecking himself. guidance welcome.
