My setup is nothing fancy — just a plain Niimbot loaded with 40mm x 12mm labels. The reason I avoid bigger ones is that they eat up too much of the vial's surface.

Before drawing anything into a syringe, I like being able to glance through and check for floaters or anything odd.

That said, I'll admit the bigger, more colorful labels are 100% nicer looking. 🙂
Exactly. My setup includes a Niimbot 110, which stays stocked with the circular labels sized for vial caps. Alongside that, I use a Nelko P21—quite comparable—set up with 12mm x 40mm labels specifically for the vial bodies.
I want to put labels on my vial tops too. The niimbot 110 is easy enough to find, but the round labels are a different story. I'm sure they're available on amazon, yet I just can't track them down. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it!
For those, your best bet is Niimbot's own website — that's where you'll find the round ones in white and in colors. The clear versions are no good, since they don't stand out on darker caps.

That's great—everything I was after is sorted now. Thanks for the assistance!

Is anyone else planning to buy a label maker while Amazon Prime Day is happening? I've got my eye on the Nimbot B1 Pro since it's discounted.

I have an HP LaserJet P1102w. Is it possible to use it for printing labels? Or is a dedicated label-maker device required?
Sure thing. Look for vinyl sticker sheets made for laser printers. White, clear, and holographic options are all easy to find.

Usually they're sold as full-page sheets, which means cutting each one out by hand. For laser printers, though, that's frequently the smarter route, since pre-cut labels have a tendency to lift off and mess up the drum. This is exactly the kind of situation where reading customer reviews pays off.
The paper I ordered showed up today. Amazon really came through! Next step is figuring out how to create the designs. I had no idea it would be this tricky when the vials are so tiny...

Also, next time I ought to give the ink some time to dry.

Prime Day really delivers. I'd forgotten all about it, but I was hunting for something, and those 200' Govee house lights that normally run $759 are marked down $300 to $459. I'll catch hell for it again, but so be it. She's a fan of them as well.

Yeah, those Govee kits are all discounted quite a bit. I've had them on my wish list for 2 years now.

Absolutely! My friend sent me a screenshot of a vial this very morning, asking what it was!!! There was no label on it - OMG - and she works as a NURSE!!! I'm ordering the niimbot immediately!

I just realized I can simply run sheet labels through my laser printer, and now I'm hooked! I bet I'll refine things as I go, but these initial attempts make me happy!
What's the method for getting precise dimensions on A4 paper? Say I'm aiming for a label that's 20x15 mm.
