KLOW protocol timing: does it matter, and why?

I've been looking into research protocols for KLOW. From what I gather, the usual approach is 2 mg for 2 weeks, then 4 mg for 2 weeks, then 6 mg for 4 weeks, then a taper back to 4 mg for 4 weeks, and after that a 4 week break. Is this how everyone runs it? My assumption is that the 4 week break lets any copper buildup clear out — is that right? And does it matter what time of day you inject? One protocol I came across recommended pinning at night while fasted, at least 3 hours after eating. What's the reasoning behind that?

Do you have to take the break, or are there people who stay on KLOW without stopping?

My goals are skin benefits, better gut health and a reduction in systemic inflammation.

I doubt the schedule makes much of a difference, though I'd rather pin before bed so the healing process can work while I sleep. Whether that's actually right, I'm not sure.

If the goal calls for it, I could lower the dose rather than stop entirely.

I don't run ghk cu or kpv in cycles — I inject them every day. As for tb and bpc, I wouldn't take those nonstop. My opinion isn't backed by any evidence.

Mine ran Monday through Friday, with weekends off. I picked it up from a peptide-focused site that seemed credible, though I could be mistaken.

Honestly, apart from possibly faster fingernail growth, I noticed no difference.

Was my dose too low? I stopped cycling 6 weeks ago and plan to give it another go.

Weeks 1–2: 2,667 mcg total, ~10 units (0.10 mL)

Weeks 3–6: 4,000 mcg total, ~15 units (0.15 mL)

Weeks 7–12: 5,333 mcg total, ~20 units (0.20 mL)

I'm only beginning to look into KLOW.

When you describe that schedule, do you mean injecting every day and the figure given is the total for the week, or is it a single weekly dose?

That's a great deal of deliberation.

My KLOW dosing is based on the ghk content. I titrated up quickly to 2.5mg of ghk (since klow = 50ghk, that works out to 20 daily doses at 2.5mg; 3ml = 15u doses). I run that through 2 vials. After that I switch to ghk/kpv daily for roughly 20 days.

Lately I've added a ghk/kpv dose in the evening too. As it stands I believe I'm on 2.5ghk in the am and 2mg in the evening. I'm trying to find out whether a higher ghk amount brings more skin improvement. So far I've been really happy, but could I be even happier??? Time will tell!

Fantastic!!...As you're aware...I've got an asspot containing every KLOW component®, along with a stack of KLOW.....My plan has always been to fiddle with the KLOW by adding a little of this and that to it (and I still intend to)...but this breakthrough notion of 'cycling' the KLOW — X weeks on, Y weeks off, and during the 'tweener' weeks running a GHK-Cu / KPV blend.... 👍 👍 👍 ❤️

I'm really into it....thanks msJ....👍😍

For OP, my dosing is built around the GHK-Cu...the remaining components simply come along for the ride...and when needed I top up with separate pins...KPV especially...Running BCP-157 and TB4/TB500 in cycles is fine if you aren't really taking it for anything....But GHK and KPV will "always" be part of my daily routine...they work...and they work better continuously....👍😎

For my part, I’ve got to set aside funds first so I can stockpile klow — good and kpv have taken up all my attention lately. Having built up a couple years’ worth of those, klow is next on the list for the same treatment. The p(r)epping shall never end 😂

Possibly so, though being retired means my schedule is open. My reason for beginning with klow is a few lingering problems — my foot and knees — that I'd like to see get better. What makes me uneasy is having the bpc157/tb500 part running nonstop, since growth signaling can carry a downside as well. The notion of alternating klow with a "rest" stretch built from ghk basic and kpv appeals to me a lot. I'm with you... brilliant thinking!

Why not run BPC or TB without a break? Is it the idea that they could encourage cancer growth? I'm just wondering whether there are other reasons too.

As I mentioned, I don't have any proof. Do your own research and decide for yourself. This is experimental stuff. There isn't a single correct answer — only whatever you feel comfortable with. If you want, you could inject klow 10 times a day. Personally, I'll cycle it.

From what I've gathered™, BPC and TB stop working as well the longer you keep using them, and much like the peptides that behave that way, taking a break from them is advised....on top of that, if there's no condition for them to address or repair, they won't accomplish anything for you in the first place....

So everything above is simply me repeating another person's wild shot in the dark at it..... 👍

Someone was talking about KPV and mentioned having kits of 20s, 30s, 50s, 60s... and they were hunting for some 40s or something along those lines to finish the collection....lol....Peps becoming trading cards....

msJ, are you going with store bought KLOW, or are you sticking with DIY?....

Honestly, I went straight for the store-bought option since the price difference is huge 😂 Even if I had strong opinions on it — and I really don't — they wouldn't stand a chance against the budget reality

That copper really stings. As KLOW injection time gets closer, I get tense, because some of the shots can ache for hours. In the end I chose to cut my dose in half and inject more often. Right now I'm attempting to microdose three times a day, which seems gentler on the pain receptors. It's still too early to say whether it's lowering inflammation and sore joints. About a year ago, when I used GLOW, it appeared to get rid of the pain from a knee injury that had lingered for roughly a year, so hopefully spending some time with KLOW will heal other chronic pain sites.

What dose are you on? I'm still at the starting level of 2 mg — I can feel the needle going in, but that's it. I was braced for it to hurt, and honestly, meh.
