I want this to be a space where nobody judges anyone, okay? I'm sharing what happened to me in the hope it helps somebody else.

Apparently HGH secretagogues cause fluid to build up in the genital region and stay there. That was news to me!

Then there's ketamine, which leaves behind toxic metabolites that the urinary tract has to deal with, and those metabolites irritate it.

So picture this: you've got an area that's being flooded and holding onto fluid, and at the same time that same area is busy clearing out toxic metabolites. That combination can lead to an infection. Because it sits so close to the lower abdomin, you might mistake that infection for a hernia. You go to your doctor, and next thing you know you're told it's an infection and you're put on a round of anti-biotics.

So if you're going to use recreational ketamine, here's my suggestion: pause your CJC, tesamorelin, or whatever other HGH secretogoblin protocol you're on for 1-3 days.

That's useful information, and I believe it's worth spreading around, since many of the peptides and pep-adjacent compounds in circulation lack extensive human trials, which means interactions between drugs remain poorly understood. Appreciate it, Clav!

One more thing: ketamine has medical applications too. Last year I was in the hospital, and they brought me to a building that was shared with the "Ketamine wing." Having been a former party animal, my only frame of reference for K was as a recreational substance, so I blurted out "But I don't take ketamine! That's not something I struggle with!" The response was "No, it's for treatment USING ketamine." So if you're pursuing K treatments, this is likewise something worth knowing.

Glad people took it well, and I'm grateful for the chance to put it out there.

During a mediflight evacuation, they hit me with a dose of ketamine strong enough to put me completely under, and it appeared to leave fairly enduring (beneficial) changes in how I view life overall.

Learning that ketamine use for ptsd and severe depression has risen quite a bit in recent treatment doesn't shock me much.

I appreciate you passing this along. Ketamine therapy is something I've been considering, and I also have some Tesa and IPA on hand that I'd stack alongside my reta.
