I’m not agreeing with you—I’m pushing back. The way I see it, you either raised a question about how your own freezer behaves in a highly atypical way, or you meant the typical frost-free freezer, which for a very short time warms by 15-20 degrees. That brief warmth is enough to thaw a very thin film of condensation, after which it promptly goes back to its usual 0 degrees Fahrenheit.

On the subject of condensation and frost-free freezers: my approach is to keep it in an insulated box and never let it touch a freezer shelf. I just tuck it in among the peas and blackberries.
