Things are pretty bad here. I'm in so much pain I'm living off of pain pills and weed.

There was some repair he had to do so it ended very painful healing. The tib fib was deterating because the hardware was in to long. He had to do lots of anchoring and building a bridge from knee to tib fib. I get the staples out Thursday. That will help a lot.

My kpv and klow needs to do its job. LoL

Hang in there, it will all be a distant memory soon and you will be the Bionic Woman: Better, Faster, Stronger...

Get Well Soon💐

The phrase "better, faster, stronger" famously originates from the opening narration of the 1970s TV franchise The Six Million Dollar Man and its spin-off The Bionic Woman, starring Lindsay Wagner as Jaime Sommers.

The Bionic Origins

    • Jaime Sommers was a professional tennis player and the childhood sweetheart of Steve Austin.
    • After a tragic skydiving accident, she was rebuilt by the OSI using advanced cybernetic technology.
    • Her enhancements included two bionic legs, a right bionic arm, and a bionic ear, giving her superhuman speed, strength, and amplified hearing.

Cultural Impact

    • The character transitioned from a multi-episode arc on The Six Million Dollar Man to her own self-titled series The Bionic Woman running from 1976 to 1978.
    • She became a groundbreaking pop-culture icon as the first female lead of a weekly prime-time action/sci-fi series.

I think pain right after surgery is completely normal. Just bear with it--this too shall pass.

Yes it's normal but it wasn't just a knee replacement. It's all the extra he had to do.

Thank you. Even though I don't feel like it at this moment I know it will be ok.

Hope you get well soon.

Yikes, that looks miserable. Hopefully your kpv/klow really ramp up their effectiveness. I bet they are already helping more than you know. Have you tried arnica gel/cream topically all over your knee/leg a few times a day? That stuff is pretty incredible for me after a surgery.

Right, not directly on the incision. But the skin around/underneath you could if it isn't bandaged up. I've always done it when I could as it helps with bruising/pain very well. Just an idea if you're comfortable with it. ❤ I sure hope you have better healing this time around.

A little update

My knee surgery was August 11th. I can now walk with just a cane but short distances. I can straighten my leg to -4 which is excellent! My bend now that's a different story. I have actually lost 5 degrees so I can only bend to 60 degrees. It's definitely not from a lack of trying. The pain some days is still unbearable. The healing is going great! I now have no bandages of any kind. Yesterday the last few came off after my shower. I have a few scans but nothing too horrible. I can't start using creams of any kind until all scans are gone. Thanks peptides! I got a good pep talk from my physical therapist about me beating myself up about not being as far as the textbooks say. She reminded me I had surgery on this same leg to remove hardware just 3 weeks before this one. So it's been through a lot.
