Hi everyone! Posting like this isn’t really my usual thing — I’m far more comfortable reading than writing — but I pick up a great deal by digging into research and hearing what others have gone through. After months of quietly following along here, I’ve finally decided to make it official and join.

My main reason for being here is my mom. She’s my closest friend, and my kids love her every bit as much as I do. I’ve made it my mission to do whatever I can to back her health and longevity, and this seemed like an incredibly useful place to learn.

I studied exercise physiology, though it’s been more than 10 years since I worked in that area, and a lot of what comes up here is unfamiliar to me. Over the last year this has turned into my ADHD hyper-fixation, and I’m thankful to be here picking things up from all of youn!

It's really kind of you to give her a hand. She must be grateful for that, and that gratitude will only grow once the positive results start showing.

I talked her into giving Reta a shot, she began in June and has dropped about 50 lbs! Every day she expresses her gratitude, and getting her to say yes was the smartest move I could have made!!

Glad to be part of this group. I'm also working on getting my mother to join in.
Thanks so much!!

Honestly, she was terrified and really on the fence because of all the side effects she keeps hearing about everywhere. At 62, she needed a nudge, and I was the one who talked her into trying Reta. Now she's down about 50 lbs and every single day she tells me how grateful she is that I pushed her. What I think sealed it for her was me saying I want her to still be here for my kids as they grow up, to dance at their weddings, to actually enjoy this chapter of her life and everything retirement can give her. So many of her friends are aging badly, and she's getting her life back.
