Joining to learn; aging is no fun

I'm in my mid-40s and I work out at the gym on a consistent basis. So far I've dropped 67 lbs, but things have stalled, which pushed me to dig deeper and pick up different strategies for continuing to shed weight. The forums here will absolutely be useful and steer you the right way. Best of luck—you can do it!

The gym isn't where weight comes off. Fewer calories are what does it. I waited until my late 50's before I began any attempt at weight loss, and at 60 I've now dropped close to 50% of the 450 pounds I started at, thanks to GLP-1 peptides. These days my priority has shifted to building muscle, which is why I'm in the gym six days a week. So yes, it's achievable and achievable fast, but not in a single night. Peptides change the game completely! Wishing you success on your journey.

I should have included this in my earlier post: my diet changed back in November 2024. Combined with my gym routine, that has helped me drop weight.
